Quick update

Had one of the few nice calm days at work Friday. J and L were gone. Very peaceful. Got lots done.

Today took Johnny to the library. That was nice.

Didn't do much today. Slept 10 hours last night again. 5 day work week next week then off Monday for Labor Day.

No Vegas? None of mom, sis want to go. I'm very upset.

Thursday at Johnny's school there is Cub Scouts!!! I might sign Johnny up for that. That'll keep us busy. and the Church choir is starting up Sept 6th.

That's about it. Nothing exciting, cept spending a buttload of money on car repairs lately which sucks.

Going to home depot soon to check out my gardening options for fall. It's cooled off here to the mid 80's which is VERY nice.

2 weeks flew!

WOW, can't believe how 2 weeks have flown by!!!!

Mom visited August 13th. Took the superbus into the city, it stops by Union Station. I was frantically looking for a 'bus station' but the thing is like a city bus that stops outside! wild.

We were supposed to go out to the VFW and she would get to meet C, L, and T but the fucking bus was 2 hours late and we didn't get there till 11:30pm. The kareoke ends at 12am. BUMMER!!!!

The next day we took the kids to the Magic House a children's museum, they all loved it. VERY nice day. Had dinner. Made Chicken Parmesan again. it turned out SO GOOD!!1

Then we went to the Ameristar Casino Saturday night. Sucked at roullette but actually made some back on the penny slots at .90 a roll. Paid off pretty good.

THEN Sunday night was the American Idol Concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Met Jennifer at Houlihan's in Union Station. Had this lovely dinner (IN THE HEAT!) outside and walked to Savvis Center. The concert was excellent, better than last year's. We had binoculars and sat in the front row of the high balcony section.

Had Monday Aug 14th off. Took Johnny for his first day of FIRST GRADE!!! I am so excited. I have a good feeling about this year. The teacher Ms Collins is very nice. And the clas has alot of boys, so she'll have to take their needs into consideration.

CRAZY week of work. Monday Aug 21st there was a HUGE accident on 270 and I was stuck on the expressway for 1 1/2 hours. Someone did in this terrible accident, their car sandwhiched between a SEMI carrying cars and a pickup truck. Very ugly.

The rest of the day sucked after that.

NOW I'm off Tue and Wed 22 and 23rd. The cement is done in Cicero and M is over there now. The inspection is tomorrow. OMG we could be almost done with this.

Hopefully things should calm down this weekend.

Still trying to do Thursday night dinner with my work friend Chris (female).

OH yea, had a dentist's appointment for 'debridement' which is tooth scraping and water blasting the tartar off my teeth. They gave me GAS!

DAMN that was a good high. That shit can get totally addicting. Didn't feel a thing. If I didn't have the gas they'd have to peel me off the ceiling. I AM NEVER AGAIN GETTING A DENTAL PROCEDURE WITHOUT GAS! That shit ROCKS!!!!!!!! Left me very tired the rest of the day though. Next time I'll try to nap after that.

Catch Up

Slept 10 hours last night!!!! It was such a deeeeep sleep. Felt great today. Had the kids all day again today, M is in Cicero again collecting the rent. Took the kids to church. Now that their older and Charlie is 100% potty trained taking them out by myself isn't so bad. Took both of them to get haircuts. Charlie's first barber hair cut!!!! They both look cute. Then went to the local Walmart to get Johnny's school supplies. That was a mistake.

It's 99 degrees outside, it's crowded in the store and they put all the school supplies in 3 very narrow aisles. ARGH!!!! I couldn't find anything, it was all overpriced etc. Very annoyed.

Went to Dierberg's for leftover groceries. Charlie fell asleep in the car. lol.

Then came home. I was worn out and exhausted. Put up a load of dishes, made this new recipe. Take cinamon rolls, cut them up and put them in this egg, sugar, mashed banana mixture. Make this crumb stuff with walnuts, flour, brown sugar. Sprinkle it on top. The frosting is the roll icing with pancake syrup. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 It's so friggen good.

Took some of those slim cook books from Mom's. Totally paying dividends with new recipes. Got another new one tomorrow also. Angel hair with a lemon cream pesto. YUM.

Then made macaroni and cheese, then gave the kids a bath. Watched BB7 then chilled, then put the kids to bed. They were VERY VERY VERY good today.

Watched this movie Brazilian, called City of God about the Rio slums. WOW. Very good.

Have not been posting much cause I'm obsessed with Big Brother All Stars. Watching the shows and Live Feeds.

Dance and Kitchen will be over soon.

The party Saturday July 29th totally rocked!!!! Spent Sunday sleeping it off. LOL. It was at Tom's house and he has a huge pool. It was a warm night and swimming in the dark by candlelight with Cindy and Lisa was amazingly fun.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Friday rolls around after an interesting week at work and I get an email from Tom to me, lisa and cindy announcing a Heart concert at the Washington, MO state fair at 9pm.

OMG, how exciting! I went home a bit early to eat and play with the kids. Then we met by Tom's house. Cindy drove, it was over an hour away!!!!! WOW

We got there just at the nick of time. It was so amazing!!!!! The moon overhead and the beer and the cigarettes and the music and the crowd. Truly a memory to cherish.

We left the fair, pretty soon after that. Didn't swim when we got back, just ate and went home. Didn't feel too bad the next day.

Took Johnny to see Barnyard. it was ok.

Mom's coming next weekend. Will be VERY busy.
