London Update

Been a week since I've been back. Exhausted every night, in bed by 10:30pm, getting 8 hours uninterrupted sleep. Still recovering from that trip.

The original 6:25 flight was delayed so they put me on a 4:50 to Chicago, I jumped on it grateful for the chance. Then made the connection to London. Got stuck 3rd seat out of 5. These 2 lunkhead guys on either side of me fell asleep and didn't move a muscle the entire 8 hours!!!!! The plane didn't take off till 9:15 waiting on luggage from all the connecting flights.

The flight up SUCKED. Got through the passport thingie ok, then find out I HAVE NO LUGGAGE!!!! It was on another plane not getting in until 11pm london time. The would deliver it to the hotel the next Morning.

SO I HAD TO GO TO THE BUSINESS MEETING MONDAY MORNIING IN Jeans and shirt that I slept in the night before. AND

NO MAKEUP

NO HAIRBRUSH

NO MAKEUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That beyond freaked me out, this is a business meeting!!!! I've never gone to work with no makeup.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I'm checked in the hotel about 2pm london time. There's

No ice machine in the hotel

No soda machine in the hotel

What the fuck?

I watched Tv but kept falling asleep cause I was so exhausted. Then walked around the Canary Wharf area, found the subway and the office. Went to sleep at 10pm. EXHAUSTED

Next morniing went ok but I didn't have my laptop, it was in my luggage. Everyone's skinny in London, the food sucks. Everything is all natural, no sugar, none of the fattening fillers in our foods. Like tuna/cucumber on wheat toast. Or prawn/lettuce on wheat. YUCK. Downstairs in the mall it's row after row of Sandwhiches for lunch.

I get back from the office Monday night and found ALL THE REST of my stuff gone!!!!

My magazines, my blanket, my slippers, my bag of soda gone!!!! I sat on the bed and bawled my head off. Turns out the maid thought I checked out and brought it all to the lost and found, but chucked the magazines.

so the luggage came in but the rest of my stuff was gone! unreal
