Bo Bice
My. I'm glad my husband wasn't in the room when Bo sang his second song. LOL
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. yum
Took Charlie for his Special Ed eval. Boy he is one smart cookie. Kept pulling on me to leave though. Hope he gets in.
RABBITS killed my cone flower! It's all droopy and half eaten. I give up.
Have a headache, have to put the kids to be soon.

Darn those critters! Sounds like you guys have more challenge with that in STL. You know who gardens? Denise Linder. She & I used to talk plants alot at Reuters- is she still there?
Glad Charlie is doing well. I have got to try and call you soon- this weekend hopefully unless we are terribly busy. SOON!
Emerld, to stop rabbits from digging up your plants, several suggestions include:
Put mothballs near your plants, but not directly on them;
Stuff some pantyhose with human or animal hair and place them around in your garden;
Sprinkle used cat litter in your garden; or,
A supposedly fail-safe way: Put up a fence, 18" high and buried at least 3" deep.
Hope whichever you try works! I'd die if I lost my cone flowers. They attract more butterflies for me, all different species, than anything else I have in my yard.
I found these suggestions at AZCENTRAL.COM, Arizona's home page. Click on food/home, scroll down to garden/more. Lots of great home & garden tips there!
